When showing your house in the winter it my behoove you to have a fire in the fireplace. Think warm and cozy!!!  Also, turn on all the lights possible.  Your home could appear dark on the inside because of less daylight. Open blinds, drapes, anything to let the natural light in.  And try to schedule showings during the daylight hours.
Holidays can give you a chance to make your home stand out from the others.  Put a big red bow on the For Sale sign and elegant decorations inside to give the buyers some holiday cheer!
